Reviews of the 2006 Jeep Commander Limited
-
CNET Review
The Good: A strong engine, an attractive--if boxy--interior, and some important safety features make it easy to forget you're driving a Jeep. A navigation system with satellite radio and a bunch of nifty electronics such as heated seats, power pedals, and a reverse warning system, add to the luxury feel.
The Bad: The Commander's standard third-row seating makes for cramped quarters throughout and limited visibility. A boxy exterior and a boxy dashboard house a nav system with boxy graphics.
The Bottom Line: The 2006 Jeep Commander is a powerful and well-appointed upscale SUV. While its performance blows the doors off the competition over any terrain, a cramped interior and clunky cabin tech bring it down.
