  The Good: The Creative TravelSound for Zen Stone is ultracompact and travel-friendly. The speakers get reasonably loud for their size and offer clear audio quality.

  The Bad: Bass response from the TravelSound Zen Stone is typically lacking, and the only power option is battery. The speaker unit doesn't have a dedicated volume, instead depending on those found on the player.

  The Bottom Line: The Creative TravelSound Zen Stone is a fine companion for the pebblelike MP3 player: it fits in your carry-on, runs on battery, and is capable of filling a hotel room with nice, clear music.
