Reviews of the Linksys WRT300N Router

CNET Review
The Good: A reasonable price, solid maximum throughput, well-organized documentation, an easy setup process, essential security features, and a long warranty are the best things about the Linksys WRT300N.
The Bad: The Linksys WRT300N performed below expectation in a mixed-mode environment and just about bombed at long range, which is supposed to be a strength of the 802.11n spec.
The Bottom Line: Though it offers good maximum throughput, the Linksys WRT300N ultimately fails to do the new Draft N standard proud in both mixed-mode and long-range tests. Wait to see how the rest of the Draft N products fare.

Review Summary: The Linksys WRT300N is a well-made device that is a pleasure to work with. Its original case design will surely appeal to the user, except for people who don't care at all about how their hardware looks.

Review Summary: Despite the impressive specification, we found the range of the router dropped off sharply. At close range the connection speed was certainly good, but as the distance increased it became very poor, even when it was mated with the WPC300N adapter. Conside

Review Summary: One of the better and relatively inexpensive draft-N routers on the market, but it still falls short of the draft-N speed claims.
