    CNET Review

    June 13, 2006

The Good: The Kyocera KR1 mobile router uses the latest security protocols, has a built-in 4-port switch, and a plethora of support options--all for a low price.

The Bad: The KR1 mobile router works only on the EV-DO network, so if your geographic area isn't covered by one of the CDMA providers, you're out of luck.

The Bottom Line: If you need a cellular router, the Kyocera KR1 is the one to go for--if you live in EV-DO country.
