    CNET Review

    October 11, 2007

The Good: The Tangent Quattro Internet radio receiver has a fun, retro design, above-average sound quality, an external audio input, alarm clock, and the ability to wirelessly stream music from your PC.

The Bad: The Tangent Quattro can only be used if you have a high-speed wireless Internet connection. While an ugly power adapter is included, a remote control, SD card slot, DRM support, and tone adjustment are not.

The Bottom Line: The Tangent Quattro is a fun gadget with great sound, but its premium price tag will scare off all but the most serious radio enthusiasts.

Storage Virtualization

  • In virtual environments, storage matters. It influences everything from application availability and disaster readiness to power consumption and TCO. Bottom line: Don’t defeat the purpose of your consolidation by skimping on storage.
