The Good: The 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport combines rugged exterior styling with easy-to-use cabin electronics and reasonable gas mileage for a car in its segment.
The Bad: The Liberty Sport's two-wheel-drive version fails to provide the performance to back up its trail-inspired exterior. The resultant mall crawler has precious few interior comforts.
The Bottom Line: The redesigned 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x2 is perfect for those who want to look like they go off-road but who never leave the asphalt. Its Spartan interior is brightened up by some advanced available tech options.
