The Good: A copious and flexible interior defines the 2007 Chrysler Aspen, with navigation, Bluetooth, Alpine audio, rear-seat DVD, and split-folding rows of rear seats all available as options. The engine choices each offer an interesting tech tidbit.
The Bad: Uninspiring materials and mediocre standard tech features let down the interior, and the exterior styling draws looks of the wrong kind. The standard engine struggles with the Aspen's bulk, and handling and braking are subpar even for a vehicle this size.
The Bottom Line: Chrysler's hit-or-miss styling misses on the 2007 Aspen, with not enough standard equipment included to entice customers to take the plunge. Factoring in the power deficit and teetering handling, the useful interior starts to look like the only real high point.
