Reviews of the Microsoft Office System beta
-
CNET Review
The Good: Office's Outlook 2003 is easier to use and more customizable; XML integration makes data gathering and sharing easier; Word's Reading Mode makes editable documents look like printed pages.
The Bad: Too few changes to prompt consumers to upgrade; won't work under Windows 95, 98, or Me.
The Bottom Line: Corporate buyers should test this beta; we suspect you'll love Office 2003's integrated XML. Home users, Office 2003 hasn't been enhanced enough to merit a test. Wait for the final, then check our review.
