    CNET Review

    April 29, 2009

The Good: The HTC Touch Cruise offers great navigation and ships with U.S. maps. The HTC Footprints application provides a nice way to record highlights of your trip. The Windows Mobile smartphone also features 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

The Bad: The screen isn't the sharpest, and it washes out in bright sunlight. It's also a bit small for in-car navigation. The onscreen keyboard is cramped, and expandable memory is limited when using maps.

The Bottom Line: The HTC Touch Cruise offers road warriors and travel lovers great navigation features in a compact smartphone; we just wish it had a better screen.

Review Summary: There are a lot of things to like about this new Touch Cruise. It may not be the flashiest device HTC offers, but it more than makes up for it with solid all-around performance. The integration of GPS services is slick; TomTom is one of the best ...
