Reviews of the 2007 Acura TL Type-S
-
CNET Review
The Good: A cabin full of tech features, including traffic-enabled, voice-activated navigation; Bluetooth hands-free calling; and a surround-sound stereo all come standard on the stylish 2007 Acura TL Type-S.
The Bad: The automatic transmission fails to do justice to the TL Type-S's powerful V-6, and the sport-tuned suspension can be a bit too stiff for comfortable freeway driving.
The Bottom Line: The 2007 Acura TL Type-S has all the ingredients to combine techno luxury with performance driving for a very attractive sub-$40K luxury sports sedan. Its cabin gadgetry is nearly flawless, but the five-speed automatic mated to the drive-by-wire throttle detracts from the sports car experience.
