The Good: The D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router displayed lightning-fast performance in short-range and mixed-mode tests; it offers Gigabit LAN ports and the latest in wireless security.

The Bad: Very expensive; based on an unfinished spec.

The Bottom Line: The D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router is the fastest we've seen, but we're still reluctant to recommend it as it's based on an unfinished wireless spec.
