The Good: Universal remote with Wi-Fi connectivity; controls up to 255 devices; allows for activity-based automated macros; handy program guide displayed on built-in color screen; click365 service delivers weather, sports, and news straight to remote.
The Bad: Device and activity setup is rough; remote is overly large and not terribly ergonomic; Wi-Fi features could've been better integrated into device setup; menu occasionally lags.
The Bottom Line: The Acoustic Research Universal Smart Remote works well once you've managed to set it up, but it cannot replace the easy-to-use experience with that of a Harmony remote.
