Reviews of the Belkin Conserve Surge Protector (8-outlet)
-
CNET Review
The Good: The Belkin Conserve surge protector allows you to completely shut down most of your components to save on energy costs while keeping two outlets reserved for electronics you want to keep "always on"; surge protection for cable/satellite RF lines; sliding safety covers for outlets; wireless remote included for power on/off.
The Bad: No socket for Powerline network adapters; no phone line or network protection.
The Bottom Line: Belkin's Conserve surge protector probably won't save you a ton of money, but it does provide a convenient way to selectively shut off any power-sucking devices in your home.
