Reviews of the Microsoft Works Suite 2002
-
CNET Review
The Good: Includes the outstanding Word 2002; seamless file compatibility with Word and Excel; includes more than 250 templates; bundled with four other first-rate Microsoft apps.
The Bad: No presentation maker; requires more than a gigabyte of disk space; won't work on Windows 95, Mac, or Linux.
The Bottom Line: For a bargain $100, Works Suite 2002 gives you a terrific word processor, a decent spreadsheet program and database, and a bunch of other top-notch apps. It's the best alternative suite value for students and home office users.
