Reviews of the QNAP TS-109 II NAS Server
-
CNET Review
The Good: Download Station supports PC-free downloads from sites that require authentication; bundled software and Web-based management make it easy to use, despite its large feature set; runs cool and quiet; supports eSATA external hard drives, up to three printers, and two IP Webcams.
The Bad: Initial setup takes a long time; a bit pricey; can't read NTFS external hard drives; short one-year warranty.
The Bottom Line: The QNAP TS-109 Pro II is a single-volume NAS drive that offers a lot more than just network storage. It's a little pricier than its peers, but its many features--including PC-free downloads--are well organized and easy to use.
