Reviews of the Kodak EasyShare 5500 All-in-One printer
-
CNET Review
The Good: Decent print quality; built-in memory card slots; two host USB ports; dedicated 4x6 photo paper tray; automatic document feeder; cheap replacement ink.
The Bad: Slow prints and scans; no onboard photo-editing options; relies heavily on included Kodak software for extended feature sets, rather than putting features on the control panel; can't do anything with the printer if an ink tank is empty; fax feature set is skimpy.
The Bottom Line: Kodak packs a host of features in the EasyShare 5500, but fails to flesh them out sufficiently. We found this all-in-one printer frustrating to use.

Review Summary: Kodak deserves credit for its economical inks and focus on photo quality. Unfortunately, these attributes together cannot overcome the Kodak EasyShare 5500 All-In-One's disappointing speed and fairly high price.
