The Good: Inexpensive and compact, the iH4 has alarm clock functionality that allows you to wake to iPod songs or a buzzer. Your iPod charges while in dock, and there's a line-in to connect other audio devices. The clock numbers also are easy to read, and we liked the accent lighting strips that can be dimmed.
The Bad: There's no radio functionality and as you might expect from a mono speaker this small, the sound is fairly thin.
The Bottom Line: While it lacks any radio functionality, the iHome iH4 is a solid value if you're looking for a low-cost bedside iPod audio speaker that recharges your iPod while you sleep and has a built-in clock and alarm.
