Reviews of the Alesis ProTrack
-
CNET Review
The Good: The Alesis ProTrack brings high-quality stereo recording to your iPod and includes full-size microphone connections that support phantom power.
The Bad: The ProTrack is designed like a brick, offers poor battery life, records only to WAV, lacks low-cut filtering, and requires iPod cables and iTunes software to transfer recordings to your computer.
The Bottom Line: The Alesis ProTrack isn't the smallest, cheapest, or most-fully featured stereo iPod recorder we've seen, but the inclusion of phantom-powered mic inputs gives it a unique edge over the competition.
