Reviews of the BlackIce PC Protection 3.5

  • 6.0

    CNET Review

    April 11, 2002

The Good: Monitors your software for possible Trojan horses; hides all but one port on your PC.

The Bad: Cluttered, confusing interface; inflexible Net access settings; no e-mail scanning for nasty macros or scripts.

The Bottom Line: BlackIce PC Protection 3.5 is too confusing for the average user, despite its cool Trojan horse catcher. Stick with ZoneAlarm Pro 3.0 or Norton Internet Security 2002 for now.
