The Good: All-in-one 5.1 home theater system with built-in five-disc DVD changer; included iPod dock; front tallboy speakers; can play MP3 and JPEG files; quick disc changer.
The Bad: So-so music performance; rear wireless speakers aren't exactly wireless; disc changer is a bit noisy; costs nearly as much as Blu-ray home theater systems; no video inputs.
The Bottom Line: If Blu-ray compatibility isn't a consideration, Sony's HAV-HDX589W home theater system offers a good balance of features and quality.
