Reviews of the ATI Radeon X850 XT CrossFire Edition
-
CNET Review
The Good: ATI's first dual 3D-card option; more flexibility in pairing different cards together than what Nvidia offers.
The Bad: Inelegant external cable setup; X800-series chips are almost obsolete, no support for 1,600x1,200 beyond a 60Hz refresh rate; CrossFire chipset runs only at dual 8X.
The Bottom Line: We don't recommend that you buy a Radeon X850-based CrossFire setup due to the core chip's age, but at least ATI proves that it can keep up with Nvidia.
