Reviews of the Tamrac Expedition 5 Model 5575 - camera backpack

    CNET Review

    August 15, 2007

The Good: Solid construction as camera bags go; plenty of padding; comfortable, easy-to-adjust harness; rain flaps over zippers; big enough for pro lenses; deep enough for pro SLR bodies.

The Bad: The textured grip on the handle is slightly uncomfortable when the pack is loaded with heavy gear; no convenient place for a cell phone; no laptop compartment.

The Bottom Line: While most camera backpacks tend to be very large, this midsize backpack is just right for non-pros who want to bring along a larger telephoto lens, as well as flashes, and some other gear.
