Reviews of the Actron PocketScan Code Reader CP9125

  • 6.5

    CNET Review

    February 22, 2006

The Good: The Actron PocketScan Code Reader is small and lightweight. Its interface is easy to use, and the company includes solid diagnostic information on its Web site.

The Bad: The cord on the Actron PocketScan Code Reader is too short to extend to the engine bay, and the device reads a limited number of power train codes.

The Bottom Line: The Actron PocketScan Code Reader works fine for very basic OBD-II scanning and is extremely easy to use, but its code-reading limitations make it useful for diagnosing only simple engine problems.
