Reviews of the ThinkFree Office 3
-
CNET Review
The Good: ThinkFree Office 3 offers free, intuitive online applications and inexpensive desktop software for Linux, Mac, and Windows PCs; imports various formats; and saves to PDF. ThinkFree Online offers a 10MB file limit with total 1GB storage, inserts images from Flickr, and posts blog entries; offers 24-hour e-mail support.
The Bad: ThinkFree Office 3 lacks some advanced tools. The online beta version opens only one file at a time, and it saves and opens work very slowly.
The Bottom Line: ThinkFree Office 3 for the desktop is a decent, low-cost alternative to Microsoft Office. Its free online component has more storage and a few more extra features than competing, browser-based services.
Manufacturer: ThinkFree Corporation
Part number: 2480
