The Good: Excellent padding on the straps and rear panel; fits 17-inch laptops; built-in rain cover.
The Bad: Not exactly sophisticated-looking; no rear pocket for papers, magazines, and so on.
The Bottom Line: A built-in raincoat, plus enough room for a 17-inch laptop, makes the Targus Flare worth a look, if you don't mind looking like you're on your way back to the dorms.
