- The good: Reasonably priced; attractive dark brown finish; includes ExpressCard slot and FireWire port; excellent manual.
- The bad: Underpowered AMD CPU paired with only 1GB of RAM limits performance; unimpressive battery life; not customizable.
- The bottom line: For less than $1,000, the Averatec 2371 is an excellent value ultraportable for those who can look past its acceptable but subpar performance.
