The EasyShare 5300 printer is Kodak's attempt at creating an easy-to-use, inexpensive all-in-one machine, but we think the company went too far and dumbed it down to where it lacks many of the features that the competition offers.

Canon ImageClass MP4690

The Canon ImageClass MP4690 multifunction laser printer offers work groups a lot of bang for the buck, but the Dell 1815dn offers nearly the same feature set and faster prints at the same price.

HP Officejet Pro L7680 All-in-One

Canon Pixma MP160

The entry-level Canon Pixma MP160 is a decent all-in-one printer for the price, but don't be tempted by the entry-level machine: the Pixma MP180 costs a mere $10 more and provides the same print quality and a ton more features.

HP Photosmart C5180

The HP Photosmart C5180 is a perfectly acceptable photo all-in-one, but you can get more features and faster print speeds for the same amount of money.

HP OfficeJet 4315 all-in-one

The HP OfficeJet 4315 does it all, but does it slowly and not very well. It's a decent choice if you need a cheap all-in-one on hand for those "just in case" moments, but if you print even semiregularly, you're better off spending a little bit more for a better all-in-one printer.

The Canon Pixma MP950 is a near ideal photo all-in-one for an amateur photo enthusiast. The inclusion of fax and networking capabilities would've made it a must-buy.
