| Review Summary |
The poor cabin electronics in the 2008 Volkswagen R32 keep it from being a great tech car, but its drivetrain tech makes up somewhat for that lost ground. However, there are many good sport sedans that come in around the same price. |
Without many of the options our test car came loaded with, the 2007 Volkswagen GTI represents a very sporty car for a great price. But the added expense and the inferior cabin electronics drag the car down. |
The 2009 Nissan GT-R is a technical tour de force, with evidence of brilliance throughout. We would have a hard time with the GT-R as an everyday driver, but it offers fun and exhilaration at heart-stopping levels. |
With its refined cabin tech, very nice performance, and beautiful design, the 2008 Audi S5 excels in most areas, only being dragged down by poor mileage and unambitious cabin tech. |
The 2009 Dodge Challenger is truly a muscle car for the 21st century, with the power and the technology to back it up; we only wish the interior matched the price tag. |
