The Good: A brawny V-6 engine gives the 2007 Eclipse Spyder GT plenty of freeway freedom, while its booming stereo will drown out the wind noise in the fast lane.
The Bad: Despite its svelte styling, the hefty front-wheel-drive Eclipse is more of a sporty car than a sports car. Aside from a meaty audio system, the interior tech landscape is pretty barren.
The Bottom Line: The 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT is a distinctively styled convertible with a sparse but comfortable cabin. Despite its powerful V-6 and sports-car profile, it's happier changing lanes on the freeway than racing off the lights.
