ICQ
An instant-messaging program developed by Mirabilis, ICQ ("I Seek You") was purchased by America Online in 1998. As an ICQ user, you can exchange instant messages, chat, send e-mail and wireless-pager messages, transfer files, and play games. You can also configure the program to notify you when friends are online.
