RDRAM
Rambus dynamic random access memory A memory subsystem that consists of a RAM chip, the RAM controller, and the bus that connects RAM to the microprocessor. RDRAM was once used in Intel Pentium III and 4 processors, but the technology has since fallen out of favor with PC manufacturers. It is currently used in consumer electronics devices and gaming platforms.
