The Good: Mapquest's simple interface makes it easy to find maps or routes; it can e-mail or send directions to a cell phone or a PDA; advanced route options avoid tolls or highways.
The Bad: Once the reigning king of online mapping, Mapquest now looks ancient compared to mapping services from Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo; its results pages are cluttered with ads; no satellite images.
The Bottom Line: Mapquest is still an excellent resource, but it needs a major overhaul to keep up with the online mapping world.
