  The Good: The Sportscaster is a compact, affordable, and basic XM receiver; it can be used in the car, or with accessories, in the home or on the go; includes sports presets out of the box; decent sound and signal quality; ships with a remote control.

  The Bad: The Sportscaster lacks dedicated preset buttons; car-mounting kit isn't secure enough.

  The Bottom Line: If you want the most basic and affordable way into XM radio and don't mind surfing through channels, check out AGT's Sportscaster.
