CNET Review
The Good: The JVC HD-58S998 rear-projection HDTV has a beautiful design that includes an extra-slim bezel and a 10-inch-deep cabinet; produces a deep shade of black; relatively accurate initial color temperature.
The Bad: Geometry issues cause bent horizontal lines; inaccurate primary color of green; computer input only goes up to 1,024x768 resolution; no true independent input memories.
The Bottom Line: Although it had a hard time keeping a straight line, the JVC HD-58S998 gives solid picture quality from an ultraslim cabinet.

Review Summary: JVC HD-58S998 58" RPTV had a few minor problems, but they weren't generally visible when watching most program material. And when they were visible, they were subtle. Otherwise, this set has a lot to recommend it, not the least of which is its slim, sleek
