According to today's DigiTimes, Asustek Computer is planning to launch new Eee PC models, the 904 and 905 — which have an 8.9-inch panel but use a similar chassis and keyboard as the company’s 10.2-inch models, according to the Times’ vendor sources.

- Canon FS100 (garnet wine) is all about budget
Convenient, well-designed camcorders that look pricier than they are, models in the Canon FS series--FS11, FS10, and FS100--nevertheless deliver typical budget video in line with their budget price tags.

- RCA Small Wonder EZ200 drawbacks outweigh advantages RCA's Small Wonder Pocket EZ205 has some significant advantages over its competitors--but it has a lot more drawbacks.

- BlueAnt Supertooth 3 an excellent choice The BlueAnt Wireless Supertooth 3 is an excellent choice for a portable car speakerphone, especially since it will read out incoming caller ID so you can keep your eyes on the road.

- HP TouchSmart IQ506 has its high points HP's new-and-improved TouchSmart all-in-one PC refines the touch-based concept it introduced last year. Faster all-in-ones, and Apple's iPhone, make the TouchSmart seem a bit behind the times, but the convenient software and its kitchen-friendly design offer functionality that's unavailable elsewhere.

- Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 (Black) lacks perfection but satisfies
Though it's not perfect, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5's compact midrange megazoom feature set puts it in a class with just its sibling, the TZ4, and should deliver a satisfying shooting experience.

- RCA Small Wonder EZ200 drawbacks outweigh advantages RCA's Small Wonder Pocket EZ205 has some significant advantages over its competitors--but it has a lot more drawbacks.

- Nokia N78 (unlocked) impresses As with all Nokia N series smartphones, the Nokia N78 impresses with its high-end features, especially the new geotagging tool, but we were slightly disappointed by the spotty call quality.

- V7 D24W33 a solid performer Its video connections and viewing angles are limited, but the V7 D24W33 is about the cheapest 24-inch LCD monitor you'll find and proved itself to be a solid overall performer.

Can a cell phone replace your digital camera?
If you ask the likes of Motorola and Sony Ericsson the answer is yes, of course. Both phone makers have recently announced camera phones with (relatively) high-resolution cameras that may be capable of replacing your point-and-shoot digital camera. Janice Chen

ShoZu photo sharing application coming to the iPhone
I was pleased to read the my favorite photo/video upload application, ShoZu, will be coming to the iPhone Applicaton Store when it is launched and it will be FREE. I have written about ShoZu a few times and can't say enough about how incredible this application is for those of us who capture photos and videos on our mobile devices and want to share that content with others. Dell Studio laptops now available
Dell has announced its new Studio line of laptops. The Studio series includes models with 15.4-inch and 17-inch displays. Dell is in the process of expanding its retail business, and the flashier design and more compelling features of the Studio models are tailored to retail customers who would typically choose an HP Pavilion, Sony VAIO or Acer Aspire. Wi-Fi in cable set-top boxes coming (not so soon)
Cable TV providers are planning to add wireless to their set-top boxes, according to panelists at a recent Connect event sponsored by Park Associates and the CEA. A report in EE Times say cable companies like Cox Communications are planning to deliver signals to home via coaxial cable, and then add a wireless link for shuffling the signal throughout the home.
